Getting to know your 2012 NBA Draft prospects: Meet Evan Fournier, the top international prospect in the upcoming draft. Fournier is a 19 year old, 6’-7” SG from France. He was the youngest player to ever score 20 points in a French League game, breakingthe now blindTony Parker’s record & is considered a likely 1st round pick at some point after pick 22. He seems like a perfect Spurs or Blazers type of choice, but also watch for Memphis, OKC, or Miami to consider him. Miami isn’t usually big on drafting Euros, but they could choose to stash him overseas for a year or two. The other four clubs mentioned could do the same or use him as a role player for a season, maybe two, until he physically matures.
Finally, thanks to Flash, Kobe & Shaq can be the greatest Super Hero duo of all-time.

The meteoric rise of New York Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin has echoes of Tim Tebow, the Denver Broncos quarterback who caused such a stir last fall. Of course, Tebow was a college superstar at the University of Florida, while Lin played in relative obscurity at Harvard. But both began their pro careers as bench warmers. As their teams struggled, they were finally given a chance, and became overnight sensations as they turned their teams into winners. Here’s a rough comparison: Lin Vs. Tebow
As NY’ers we’re prone to Linsanity. But we still love our Tebow time too. Still, Linsanity is crazzzzy.
